Rafe Sadnan Adel is a renowned journalist, communication expert, and social advocate with a career spanning over two decades. His journey began in journalism, where he served as a reporter and presenter for leading Bangladeshi media outlets, including Somoy Television, Channel 24, ATN News, Ekattor Television, and Dhaka Tribune etc. Transitioning into strategic communication, Adel brought his expertise to leading organizations. At North South University, he served as the Director of Public Relations, managing critical institutional communication during significant events, including the July Revolution. At BRAC, the world’s largest NGO, he led Media and External Relations. He is the founding chairperson of Cancerbd.net, Bangladesh’s first web-based initiative dedicated to raising awareness about cancer in Bengali. Since 2021, he has served as a Board Director of the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition, contributing to global advocacy for women’s health and awareness. A passionate educator, Adel has shared his expertise as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, mentoring the next generation of communication professionals.
