Md. Shohiduzzaman who is popularly known as S M Shamim Ahmed is a freelance English Teacher, and the author of the Best-selling book 'A Gateway to English Literature'. He is a writer & ardent researcher, publisher, translator, and Entrepreneur. He is the founder of Bd eMart. Mr. Shamim Ahmed obtained his Honors and Masters Degree in English Literature. He obtained another Master's in ELT (English Language Teaching) from Jahangirnagar University. For the last 11 years, he has been teaching English Language & Literature at the graduation level of different renowned platforms in Bangladesh. He started translating Baul songs in 2017 out of this indebtedness and gratitude to the mystic poets of Bangladesh and so far the number of translated songs have reached 200. He established 'Boi Somabesh Bangladesh-বই সমাবেশ বাংলাদেশ' in 2021, with the vision of distributing books among financially disadvantaged students.
