ক্লান্ত বাতি (পেপারব্যাক)

“ক্লান্ত বাতি“ ছোট শিশুদের এনার্জি সেভিং এর গল্প শোনায় এবং বিদ্যুৎ অপচয় না করার শিক্ষা দেয়। গল্পে আমাদের ছোট্ট আরিশা এবং তার প্রিয় দোয়েল পাখি দুলু বাবার কাছ থেকে বিদ্যুৎ অপচয় না করার শিক্ষা পায়। তারপর কিভাবে সে তার প্রতিবেশীকে বিদ্যুৎ অপচয় না করতে সাহায্য করে সেটাই আমরা দেখি।

ক্লান্ত বাতি বইটির অন্যতম আকর্ষণ হল বইটি এক পাশ থেকে বাংলা এবং অন্য পাশ থেকে ইংরেজিতে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ একই গল্প শিশুরা বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে পড়তে পারবে। তাই এর মাধ্যমে বাংলা ও ইংরেজি ভাষাও একটু শিখে ফেলা যাবে। বইটির মাঝে কিছু একটিভিটি এবং পুরো গল্পটি একটি চমৎকার ছড়া হিসেবে বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে দেয়া আছে।

"Weary Light" teaches young children about energy saving and the importance of not wasting electricity. In the story, little Arisha and her favorite Doel bird, Dulu, learn from her father why saving electricity is important. Later, we see how she helps her neighbors avoid wasting electricity.

One of the unique features of Weary Light book is it is a bilingual book, with Bengali on one side and English on the other. This allows children to read the same story in both languages, helping them develop their bilingual skills. The book also contains interactive activities and presents the entire story as a charming poem in both Bengali and English.
