Moral erosion is mounting all over the world although material developments are taking place in all sectors of human life. This is a sad trend which is plaguing all veins of human society. Man srunning after eaming easy money to enjoy pleasure and comfort with material acquisition. Those individuals who have position and power try to grab opportunities at the cost of the basic needs of the many. They forget that their pleasure, luxury and comfort are built on the bones and muscles of the less fortunate people in the society. In parallel, the people with acquired opportunities forget they have the responsibility to look after the interest of the less fortunate people. In the present world kindness, affection, fellow-feeling and sense of sharing seem to be declining in an alarming rate. Also, exploitation of the weak, extraction of money with no sympathy to exploited people, torture, affliction, killing, terrorism, etc are mounting day by day.
There should be radical change in the present trend of the human society in order to live with peace and harmony. My feelings for the afflicted and exploited mass of people are expressed in my poems to generate kindness and sympathy in the hearts of the people. I hope my small effort will illuminate sense in the people who are exploiting those who are less fortunate. Most of my poems are touching upon the social ills in order to trigger kindness in the heart of the people who exploited the weak. Also there are poems of love and affection which may instill softness in the hearts of the people who tend to forget love for the people.
My little effort will find success when peace and harmony will pervade through the human society.
