Nadira Bhabna is a bilingual translator, editor, and writer. She completed her Honours and Master's in English Literature at the University of Dhaka, after exploring several languages including French. Rooted in the haor region of Kishoreganj, Bhabna carries within her the rhythms of water, wind, and language-elements that continue to shape her creative expression. Translation, for her, is more than a profession-it is a passion and an obsession. Her debut work, Ruddro and Beyond, brings the fierce and lyrical voice of Ruddro Muhammad Shahidullah to English readers. She has also translated multiple interna-tional works into Bengali and currently serves on the English Translation and Review Committee at Nazrul Institute. Bhabna's love for literature is matched by her deep connection to nature and music. Having grown up near the horizon, her free-spirited and adventurous soul views both literature and music as essential acts of survival, resistance, and celebration.
