Kanchan Banerjee, born in a small village in West Bengal, witnessed the rise of Communist movements, including the Left Front and Naxalism, before moving to the USA to study computer science. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bardhaman University and a master’s in computer science from Boston University.A thinker, researcher, and author, Kanchan is a prominent Hindu and Indian American social leader, actively supporting numerous Indian and Hindu organizations worldwide. A dedicated yoga teacher, he has a keen interest in Indian history and its place in world history, driven by a desire to understand why Indians remain disconnected from their past and future. His previous book, The Crash of a Civilization, received global recognition. His latest work continues his quest to rediscover Bharat’s rich heritage and chart a path forward.
