জোনাথন বাকলি

Jonathan Buckley was born in Birmingham, grew up in Dudley, and studied English literature at Sussex University and King’s College, London. He wrote several guidebooks to Italy for Rough Guides, before publishing his first novel, The Biography of Thomas Lang, in 1997. In 2015 he won the BBC National Short Story Award with “Briar Road”; his twelfth novel, Tell, was shortlisted for the 2024 Goldsmiths Prize; One Boat was longlisted for the Booker Prize in 2025. He lives in Brighton.
